2019 Citroën C5 Aircross AdBlue Fault P20EE
Our mobile team attended a 2019 Citroën C5 Aircross 1.5 BlueHDi after its AdBlue countdown had reached zero. The vehicle had entered a non-start state and could no longer be started normally.
A full diagnostic assessment identified the P20EE fault code, relating to the performance of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system.

Diagnostic assessment
Our technician checked the engine-management and AdBlue systems, confirmed the stored fault code and assessed why the starting countdown had been activated. The assessment also checked for additional diagnostic trouble codes before any software work was carried out.
These findings relate to this vehicle. Similar warning messages on another Citroën would require a separate assessment to establish the cause.
Work carried out
Following the diagnostic assessment, the team completed an AdBlue software delete on the engine control unit and addressed the associated fault data. Final checks confirmed that the software procedure had been completed. Diagnostics, software work and final checks took approximately one hour.
